Cougar Band & Guard

March-A-Thon is our ONE AND ONLY fundraiser of the year. Your generous gift helps finance the production, composition, design and props for our 2018 Marching Production "Before the Yellow Brick Road", new instruments (this year we purchased an acoustic upright bass and a five octave Marimba for our percussionists), clinicians and marching/percussion technicians, meals when we travel, and more! On Saturday, August 18th from 9-11am the Cougar Band & Guard will parade through the streets of the Castlegate Community near CSHS. We will stop and give lawn concerts along the way. Everyone is invited to join the parade or just come out and watch! A music education helps develop language and reasoning, teaches students to work together as a team, gives them a sense of achievement and helps with their emotional and social development. Band kids are great kids! Thanks for your support!
