Vandegrift Vipers Lacrosse Club

In Texas, Lacrosse is a club sport, and unfortunately, our team does not receive any financial support from our school or our school district. Our organization must pay for coaches, uniforms, equipment, and use of practice and game fields.

The 2020-2021 school year has unprecedented challenges due to COVID-19, and we are not the exception. With strict district protocols in place, we have had to find private field locations for our high school teams to begin practicing. Our youth season is just around the corner, and we need to have the flexibility to rent fields for them as well so that their spring season can start.

We want to keep our upward momentum by building our strong coaching staff, buying the equipment as necessary, and working at having one of the best lacrosse programs in central Texas.

As we approach our 12th year this Spring of 2021, we are more excited than ever about the stellar coaching staff Coach Cometti has built and the renewed focus on what it takes to be an exceptional team: accountability, teamwork, hard work, preparation, and building a winning culture.

Thank you for considering a donation to the boys lacrosse program this spring! Due to Covid restrictions and limited field space the club is having to get creative and rent outdoor and indoor fields to host practice rather than use the school district space.
