Dear parents,
We are using an online fundraising platform called Fund-Team.com for our next fundraiser. This online donation drive won't ask anyone to buy products they don't need; rather, we will ask friends and family to donate directly to our team.
We are asking that all team members gather 15 email addresses and/or phone numbers (for text) of friends and family who would be potential donors. These should only be people you know personally. The team members will create their own fundraising pages and enter their contacts, and then the platform will send an email or text message to ask for donations for the team. All reminders are sent automatically from the platform. It is best to let donors know that messages will be coming so they know it is legitimate and that you have their permission to contact them.
To join, your student will receive a join link from our team organizer. The student should create their own account and personalize their own donation page.
Note: Parents should not create an account for themselves.
When a donation is made, the team member will receive a notification and will be prompted to send a thank-you email or text.
