What You Can Customize on a Fund-Team.com Fundraiser

Fund-Team.com lets organizers and team members customize what donors see. Organizers set the campaign's text, photos, video, goals, dates, and suggested donation amounts, and control donor privacy. Each team member can add their own photo and a personal message for the donors they invite. Here is the full list.

Want to see the result? Here is an example donor email and an example donation page. During a campaign, every team member can preview the exact email and donation page their donors will receive.

Organizers: Campaign Content

  1. Campaign title. Shown at the top of the donation page and in the browser tab.
  2. Team name. Shown as the organization heading on the donation page.
  3. Team photo. Used as the banner at the top of the donation page and as the preview image when the link is shared.
  4. Description seen by donors. The main text telling donors about your team and what the money is for.
  5. Email message to donors. A short message of one or two sentences included in the donation request emails.
  6. Video. Add a YouTube or Vimeo link and it is embedded on the donation page.
  7. Team website link. Adds a "Learn More" button on the donation page.
  8. Spanish versions. Turn on Spanish and provide Spanish translations of your description and email message. Team members then choose Spanish for individual donors when adding them.

Organizers: Goals and Donation Amounts

  1. Team goal. Shown as the team progress bar on every donation page.
  2. Individual goals. Set a goal for each team member and choose whether donors see that team member's personal progress bar.
  3. Start and end dates. These drive the countdown timer on the donation page.
  4. Suggested donation amounts. Up to six suggested amounts, each with its own description of what that amount pays for (for example, "Covers one student's competition fee"). Turn each amount on or off.
  5. Custom amounts. Choose whether donors can enter their own amount.
  6. Processing fee checkbox. Choose whether donors see an optional checkbox to cover the credit card processing fee. Donors are never asked to tip. (This option isn't available if you use your own PayPal account.)

Organizers: Donor Privacy and Moderation

  1. Public donor names. Choose whether donor names appear with the donor messages on the donation page. Donors can always choose to stay anonymous.
  2. Hide donor messages. Organizers and campaign administrators can hide any individual donor message.
  3. Team member personalization. Choose whether team members can add their own photo and personal message. This is on by default and recommended.

Team Members: Personal Donation Pages

Every team member gets their own donation link. The donors they invite see a page personalized to them:

  1. Personal photo. A photo of them taking part in the team's activity.
  2. Personal message. A message shown only to the donors who arrive through their link.
  3. Profile photo. Shown next to their name at the top of their donation page.

For Your Team: Leaderboards

Leaderboards appear on team members' dashboards and are not shown to donors. Organizers choose which ones to turn on:

  1. Individual leaderboard. Shows team members the top 10 fundraisers on the team.
  2. Subgroup leaderboard. If your team is organized into subgroups (for example, Freshman, JV, and Varsity), team members can compare their subgroup's results against the others.

What Stays the Same

The page layout and checkout are the same for every campaign. They're built to load fast and work well on phones. Fund-Team.com writes the rest of each donation request email and text message around your message, so team members don't have to write their own.
